We loved the very convenient location, and the helpful staff. Nice to have a balcony.
situated in a shopping area. being within easy walking distance of berri-uqam metro station was a big advantage. the beds are comfortable to sleep on.
Location is excellent, though if you have a street facing room city noise can keep you awake(particularly the base from the nearby live music) You can walk in 30 minutes to almost everywhere. Staff are superb and will do anything to help you. Thank you.
Noise at night, but what should one expect in the middle of the latin quarter during student fresher's week. It would ave also helped if we had access to a balcony as advertised ( minor grumble) Cafe/Bisho stops serving food at 10pm even sandwiches that were already made up.
Great small hotel in the heart of it all!
The excellent assistance from Albert!
Excellent location, value for money, upgraded room and brilliant service
The hotel, decor and rooms are beautiful. The bed was very nice, and our room was huge.
We barely saw the concierge: he was rarely there. It was a bit troublesome when we wanted to make some credit card changes, and couldn't speak to anyone. The area is quite noisy, as it is near a college. We were not aware of this when we booked. But, it was a minor inconvenience.
The beds were super comfortable and despite being right in the heart of a busy city street, the rooms were extremely peaceful.
Immaculately clean, old world style hotel in an interesting neighborhood which is full of great restaurants. Staff helpful and friendly. Easy walk to Old Montreal. Rooms comfy. Our room had a sweet balcony. Parking is free. Just don't blink when you're driving to the hotel or you might have to drive around the block!
Nothing not to like. Well, a tub in the room would have been nice. The shower was roomy and downright luxurious though!
Very convenient location by a well-connected metro station, close to an airport bus stop and close to many bars and restaurants. Very nice and clean room with organic soap/shampoo and fresh towels. Very helpful and polite staff.
The hotel does not offer breakfast. Although there are several cafes in the area, it is sometimes not very convenient to have to look for a breakfast place (especially if you don't have much time). The WiFi was rather poor (at times good, but often unstable). Another minor negative was the lack of view (my window was looking at the back of the hotel), but probably that depends on the room.
great service, beautiful inexpensive room.
It smelled like fresh paint when we came in, but we opened some windows and it was fine
- Lovely clean rooms, with nice style - On a bustling street with a lot of restaurants - Still quiet and relaxed inside
Albert was a great help with info about the city, neighbourhoods and places to eat.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent. The room was beautiful, excellent amenities. Bathroom was great.
The front steps are hard to maneuver with luggage. There was no one available at the front desk from 6pm to the next day, and there was no one there to receive our keys upon checkout.
We loved the every detail of this hotel, it definitely highlighted our trip!
